I have chosen Manuel Lima‘s ’Information Visualization Manifesto‘ as a reference for my Δ2 Writing project to explore the relationship between the reference and my own position, as well as the new insights I have gained.
How can I further develop?
- For the reference, consider adding visual images or brief titles.
- As the essay progresses, can visualization become clearer?
- How my work doesn’t collaborate with the references, maybe through images to provide more visual evidence of the tension in my current work.
- Apart from reflecting, highlight some of the positives of my work. Adjust how references are incorporated.
- Avoid lengthy paragraphs in the essay and use shorter ones instead.
- In the work, don‘t merely describe the issues found, but find a way to move them forward, engage with them. Think more about an intersectional lens – describe it, question it, contextualise it to my world.
