Unit 1: Methods of translating  – Written Response

In this written response, I re-present Michael Rock’s ‘Fuck Content’ (Michael Rock, 2009) in the form of Conditional Design Manifest (Blauvelt, et al. 2013). In graphic design, storytelling can be very helpful and meaningful for content. As my project in method of translating, I used book form (flip book) as a translation technique to tell and perform the life process of fireworks, suggesting questions about photography and video, sequence, time, etc.
